New larger Richard Mille boutique opens at Harrods

Richard Mille has reopened its boutique at Harrods increasing its footprint by a third within the Knightsbridge department store’s Fine Watch Room.

The boutique illustrates the watch brand’s new global design concept for its own retail venues and is housed behind panels of cracked glass. The light, bright space features soft cream carpets and pearly white, textured wall coverings.

Richard Mille is said to be achieving strong sales within Harrods, thanks in part to the luxury department store’s strong Middle Eastern customer base and an extensive range of the brand’s luxury watches.

Richard Mille also opened its own boutique on Mayfair’s Mount Street at the end of last year.

The Fine Watch Room at Harrods is also home to an ongoing series of pop-up exhibitions. The current displays from RJ-Romain Jerome and Jaquet Droz, which includes historic pieces from the brand, both draw to a close this Wednesday. Montblanc’s Heritage Chronométrie collection and the mechanical works of Roland Iten will both be the subject of exhibitions in October.
