New golf watch brand with club pro sales network


A new British golf-orientated watch brand has launched with a collection of 24 watches featuring Swiss movements.

Etiqus’ range of 17 men’s watch and seven women’s watches have all been designed with subtle touches that will instantly be recognised by golfers. Design touches include dimpled faces to mirror the familiar finish of golf balls and a bezel inspired the Pace of Play guidelines published by the R&A.

Entrepreneur Gary Butler launched the brand, combining his love of golf with his business acumen, taking five years of research and development to bring to market.


The watches are directly available from the brand’s own website and a network of golf professionals operating on a commission scheme. The men’s watches have been available since mid-September while the women’s collection launches at the end of this month. Prices range from £179 to £329.

The brand name ETIQUS is derived from the spirit for which the game of golf is universally known – etiquette – respecting the written and unwritten rules of the game – which according to the brand ‘is part of what makes golf so special and fraternal’.

Eqitus donates £5 from each purchase to The Golf Foundation, which gives children and young people the opportunity to experience golf and the life skills it has to offer.
