New collections from O.W.L are hip to be square

O.W.L watches unveiled a departure from its traditional round case with new rectangular and square models at the weekend.

The Lincoln and Stratford collections were revealed at the CMJ trade event in Birmingham at the weekend having been designed by brand owner Annette Allen to give O.W.L’s range something ‘different and fresh’.

The Stratford, priced at £95, is the smaller of the two models, a mini in rectangular form with rounded corners and domed glass. It features the same engraved shoulder tab that first appeared recently on the brand’s debut gents collections, Warwick and Hastings.

The larger Lincoln, priced at £110, is a rounded square-cased watch with moulded dial, giving the impression of multiple layers. Both collections will be available in October.

O.W.L watches now boast 17 collections and more than 70 individual styles.
