New Bulova collection inspired by US military

Bulova has long fostered a close relationship with the US military, at one point providing jobs for disabled WWII veterans.

Bulova’s new Military Collection is celebrating the troops by bringing back updated versions of the vintage historic watches of the brand, founded in 1875 by Joseph Bulova.

Bulova has long fostered a close relationship with the US military, at one point providing jobs for disabled WWII veterans.

The new Military Collection includes the Hack Watch, inspired by ‘hack’ military watches of the past that allowed troops to exactly synchronise their timepieces for the greatest precision during missions.

More specifically, the new Hack Watch takes its lead from the brand’s vintage 3818-A military model, first produced in the 1950s.

The new model features a Miyota Calibre 82S0 3-hand automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve.

The watch has a 38mm case and either a black or cream dial, as well as a black or green leather NATO strap.

Also in the collection are a test watch paying homage to a Bulova pilot’s watch from 1943, the A-15 Pilot Watch.
