New brands look set to make 2022 a success for Dipples

“We managed significant double digit growth both in our stores and over our website,” managing director Chris Ellis explained when reflecting on 2021.

Dipples has its eye on making 2022, its 144th year in business, the most successful yet for the Norwich-based jeweller.

With a store also in nearby Dereham, Chris Ellis, managing director, explained how the great team around him as well as a busy start to the year point towards a successful 2022.

Looking back on an unpredictable 2021, Mr Ellis commented: “The end of 2021 was the polar opposite to the start.  After our investment in new collections and ranges over the summer months, this really paid dividends with a substantial rise over both 2019 and 2020 Christmas trading.

“We managed significant double digit growth both in our stores and over our website.”

On how it differed to 2020, Mr Ellis noticed how his customers garnered a fresh appetite for new and exclusive designs across all price segments.

He added: “Our limited edition pieces proved exceptionally popular.”

This year looks set to be bigger again for the business, with new ideas and collections waiting to take off.

Mr Ellis continued: “2022 has continued in the same vein as 2021.  We are very pleased our hard work is paying off. We are hoping to bring some new collections into the business this quarter too so watch this space.”

He concluded: “I have lots of plans and ideas to put into action this year, hopefully making our 144th year our best yet.”
