Watch and jewellery photography specialist Neilson Photography has become a Supporting Partner of this year’s WatchPro Awards.
The company’s owner, Andrew Neilson, is looking forward to a night of goodwill and celebration after such a challenging 18 months, due to government restrictions on business.
“In the initial three months of lockdown, our business, like many others, totally stopped, as all our clients, retailers and manufacturers closed doors,” Neilson said. “From June 2020 when England opened up, we noticed a distinct rise in demand, as companies saw the true benefit of high end web imaging when it became the only face of their company during the three month lockdown when their footfall went to zero.
“The lead up to Christmas 2020 was one of our busiest three months in the last few years, and we have seen similar investment through 2021,” he adds.
After finding a way to adapt and even thrive during lock downs, Mr Neilson is now looking forward to the night itself.
“It’s paramount that we get back to normality as soon as we can. We need to look forward now. People need to meet, talk and do business as before.
“I can’t wait [for the WatchPro Awards evening], I’ve missed a good party! We have been shooting a lot of watches this year, again to support the new focus on online trade. We felt we should give something back and support the Awards. I see a few of our clients in the shortlists, we wish them the all the best of luck on the night!”
