Mühle-Glashütte has worked with a team of research divers at the European Scientific Diver Center in Rostock to create a watch that is optimised for professional deep sea workers.
The Ramus 2000 is designed for more than just recreational divers. It draws on the experience of the diving scientists to operate in tune with experts working on underwater work as diverse as research, archaeology and marine biology.
The watch will work as well in warm or freezing waters. It is equipped with a self-winding automatic mechanism with 38-hour power reserve and is rugged enough to survive the knocks and shocks that underwater workers endure. It is pressure resistant up to 200 bar.
The watch is offered with a blue, black or orange dial carrying Super LumiNova coated hands and indices.
Retail price is £2145 with a rubber strap and £2235 with a stainless steel strap.
