Mr Jones’ festive sales to be level with 2012

Mr Jones Watches is expecting festive sales to be either level or slightly up on last year.

The watch brand has been investigating a number of new strategies this year, including introducing a small line of vintage watches and creating small runs of watches made in Britain.

While Mr Jones Watches founder Crispin Jones said that the brand had experienced no particular hurdles this festive period, the sheer amount of work for a small team can be overwhelming.

He told WatchPro: "It’s always very hard work just because of the sheer volume of orders and emails that need to be addressed."

Jones said that November and December accounts for 40% of the brand’s annual sales.

While Jones has been conservative with his forecasts for Christmas, he said 2013 as a whole has been "very substantially up".
