More horseplay for Longines at Ascot

Longines has awarded the winner of the Longines Handicap Stakes for Lady Riders with an elegant Longines watch, as part of the brand’s commitment to the event as its official partner.

Serena Brotherton won the race on the horse Peril during King George Day at Ascot, held at the end of July, and was presented with a Longines watch by president of the brand, Walter von Kanel.

The Swiss watch maker, part of Swatch Group, was the official partner, timekeeper and watch for The Longines Handicap Stakes and recorded Peril’s winning time of 1 minute, 30.42 seconds.

A representative for owner Mr Saeed H Altayer and trainer Simon Crisford also received Longines watches, alongside jockey Brotherton.

Longines UK brand director, Katrina Jones was on hand to present the winners with their prize.
