Mido has announced the launch of its new Ocean Star Diver 600, water resistant to 2000 feet.
The Swiss-based brand has also incorporated a helium value to the new piece, although it is not fully dive-certified.
In addition to the near 2000 feet of water resistance, Mido has places the watch’s bezel on top of a ceramic ring and has engraved it with numerals filled with Super-LumiNova Grade X to increase readability in difficult conditions.
Powered by the Calibre 80Si, the COSC-certified chronometer movement features a silicone balance-spring along with a power reserve of up to 80 hours.
The new model also complies with the ISO 6425 certification and combines a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
Available in both black and steel, both models will retail for £1,319 and can be purchased from Mido’s online store.
