Michel Herbelin is introducing a fresh family of watches named the Classique 24H, and is kicking-off the new line with two styles of self-winding skeletonised models.
The name comes from the presentation of the primary hour markers running from 12 to 24, the French way of giving the time after midday, so 5pm is always talked about as 17h in France.
The morning hours are denoted by the baton hour markets.
Inside its 39mm stainless steel case is a Swiss-made Sellita SW-200 SQ automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve.
With a steel finish, the watch is retailing for £1,570, or there is the option of a yellow gold PVD coating on the case and crown that takes the price to £1,605.
Both options come on a croc-style brown leather strap.
