Maurice Lacroix has created an exclusive alloy that it is calling Powerlite.
The Powerlite alloy is a specially blended mix of aluminium, magnesium, titanium, zirconium and ceramic.
Maurice Lacroix has used Powerlite to create the case for the Pontos S Extreme, the latest addition to its Pontos line that will launch at BaselWorld later this month.
The Pontos S Extreme is said to boast the same taut, sporting elegance of its predecessors but with a more masculine look, thanks to several updates including new finishes and the use of Powerlite.
The watch has been designed by Henrik Fisker, the iconic BMW and Aston Martin designer.
As well as the black version pictured above, the timepiece is also available in khaki green and blue.
