Maurice Lacroix makes Parisian fashion designer an ambassador for its Aikon watches

Independent watchmaker Maurice Lacroix used Paris Fashion Week this month to reveal fashion designer and stylist Adeline Ziliox as its latest brand ambassador.

Ms Ziliox used her fashion show to present Maurice Lacroix’s latest Aikon Automatic 35mm as the perfect accessory for a modern woman.

“We were fascinated by the know-how and minute detail demonstrated by Adeline in every piece from her collections,” says Stéphane Waser, managing director of Maurice Lacroix.

“Her contemporary and urban vision of fashion corresponds to our idea of watchmaking. The Aikon Automatic 35mm watch is full of character. We needed to team up with a woman who had equal amounts of her own,” he adds.

Paris Fashion Week became an important event for Maurice Lacroix because Ms Ziliox styled her catwalk models with Aikon watches and paraded them in front of an audience of press, influencers and clients of the brand.

The fashion designer says that the watches work in harmony with her signature styles. “I was immediately won over by the graphic design of the watches, which directly mirrors my creations. I really appreciated the materials used, such as the mother-of-pearl with its magnificent reflections,” she says.
