Maurice Lacroix is backing month-long men’s health charity drive, Movember, for the second year running.
Adapting its own tagline, Your Time is Now, to ‘Your Time is Mo’ during November Maurice Lacroix will create a network of teams across the world, lead by its own ambassadors, to spread the word and raise funds.
Three Movember special edition Pontos S Diver have been created for the event. The first model, with a white Movember ‘stache on the dial and limited to 14 pieces, will be sold exclusively on the Maurice Lacroix website with all proceeds going to the Movember Foundation.
The second, also limited to 14 pieces but with an orange Movember ‘stache on the dial, will be used to reward the most successful fundraiser on each national team. From those 14 winners one International Man of Movember will be crowned, becoming the face of the campaign. To this end Maurice Lacroix has also created two pieces of the Pontos S Diver in electric blue, with one being presented to the International Man of Movember and the other to Movember chief executive officer Adam Garone.
Colin Jackson takes up his place as the UK team captain for the second consecutive year running. The TV personality and former athletics world champion will be driving the UK team in fundingraising, documenting his moustache growth and encouraging other men up and down the country to join his Mo’rice Lacroix UK Team.
