March sales up 88% as Watchfinder opens boutique

Sales at pre-owned watch retailer Watchfinder in March jumped 88% year on year following the recent opening if its first bricks-and-mortar store.

The impressive figures have come just one month after Watchfinder opened its WF&Co store in the London’s Royal Exchange and the retailer has attributed the jump in sales to shoppers now being able to research the watches on its website and then buy them in store.

Sales at Watchfinder in March hit £1.89 million, with boutique WF&Co selling 594 watches during the month.

Watchfinder managing director Stuart Hennell said: “To generate this volume of sales growth in what can only be described as challenging trading conditions is pleasing, but it’s in line with our expectations. As a result of opening the flagship boutique, consumer confidence can be seen to grow.”
