March LA.B creates best-selling AM2 with a limited edition forest green dial

AM2 Mars adopts the brand’s favourite green colour and its retro styling inspired by the 1970s.

March LA.B has a talent for taking familiar shapes and materials and giving them a number of unique twists that make their watches unique.

The eight-sided shape of its AM2 has a hint of Cartier’s De Santos about it, but the crown at 4 o’clock is distinctive.

The arrangement of the baton hour markers have quite literally been given a twist so that the 1, 5, 7 and 11 markers are horizontal while the rest of the hours line up towards the dial’s centre.

Its case back has a crystal window to see the movement, but it has been created in a vivid shade of green.

“The AM2 speaks directly to the quintessential allure of March LA.B. By appealing to men with bravado and style. Its sharp, definitive angles distinguish these timepieces as a true standout. The AM2 is charismatic, aggressive and radically Seventies,” the company explains.

AM2 Mars is priced at £1,250 and made in a run of just 50 units.

It has a 42mm black PVD case, forest green sunray dial with black indexes and black hands and is worn on a black perforated alligator strap with green lining.
