LVMH brands and Grand Seiko swell the ranks at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2022

Forty brands will gather for the first, long awaited, physical outing of Watches and Wonders Geneva next year.

Forty brands will gather for the first, long awaited, outing of Watches and Wonders Geneva in 2022 after what will be a three year hiatus in physical shows.

The event, picking up the baton from SIHH, which was renamed after the 2019 show, takes place from March 30 to April 5 at Palexpo.

LVMH brands Hublot, TAG Heuer and Zenith are joining the exhibition and Grand Seiko has been given a berth.

It is worth remembering this will also be the first time Chanel, Chopard, Patek Philippe, Rolex and Tudor will appear after torpedoing Baselworld with their departure.

Richemont brands Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels , IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger LeCoultre, Piaget and Vacheron Constantin are participating, as are Oris, Hermès and Kering Group’s Ulysse Nardin.

Carré des Horlogers is likely to be buzzing this year as trade, press and consumers embrace the massive rise of independent watchmakers over the past two years.

Breitling is an interesting absentee, suggesting the company will bring back its global roadshow of summits next year or stick to digital presentations.

There is no word on whether Swatch Group brands will hold their own event.
