Longines is celebrating its 180th anniversary this year and this timepiece was launched last month amid the celebrations to mark its long-term association with aviation.
The Longines Avigation Watch Type A-7 is an eye-catching chronograph, fitted with the single push-piece column-wheel movement that was developed exclusively for Longines.
Its two stand-out features are its 49mm steel case and its 50° angled dial, featuring large white Arabic numerals, which makes reading the time while flying much easier, for those in the fortunate position to be inconvenienced by this.
