Luminox returns to its Pacific origins with expansion of its Diver watch collection

Luminox, which could not wear its “Swiss Made” credentials more prominently, is reminding the world that the business was actually born in the United States.

Luminox, which could not wear its “Swiss Made” credentials more prominently, is reminding the world that the business was actually born in the United States in 1989 — on the northern part of San Francisco Bay, to be precise, where diving and surfing the Pacific Ocean is close to a religion.

To honour this historic connection to the Pacific, Luminox is introducing two brand-new coloured dials to its SEA series, the Red Sunburst Dial Pacific Diver 3135 on a rubber strap and the Green Sunburst Dial Pacific Diver 3137 on a steel bracelet.

“The Luminox Pacific Diver 3120 Series is the perfect casual watch capable of going anywhere anytime. It fits in at home, at the office, in the gym, and yes, in the Pacific Ocean,” the company states.

They come in a 44mm stainless steel case with a carbon uni-directional bezel.

The Pacific Diver series is water resistant to 200 meters, thanks in part to a screw in crown and case back.

They use Luminox Light Technology, which guarantees constant night visibility for up to 25 years and carry the company’s motto, Every Second Counts, on a stainless steel case back.

Red Sunburst Dial Pacific Diver 3135 on a rubber strap retails for £529 and the Green Sunburst Dial Pacific Diver 3137 on a steel bracelet is £620.
