Vacheron Constantin shows unshakeable support for London Craft Week

Vacheron Constantin will once again be a leading supporter of London Craft Week, a showcase of artisanal skills that runs May 3-7.

The event, now in its third year, was established in partnership with Vacheron Constantin from the outset. It returns “better than ever before”, according to the watch brand, with a week long look at the very best international and British creativity and craftsmanship through a ‘beyond luxury’ journey-of- discovery.

The curated programme brings together over 200 events from all corners of the globe fusing making, design, fashion, art, luxury and culture.

From the Victoria & Albert Museum to The Shard and RADA to The House of Lords, hidden studios to Mayfair stores and bustling workshops to Michelin starred restaurants, London Craft Week is spread across the Capital’s iconic buildings, influential institutions and off-the-beaten track side streets, many of which are not normally open to the public.

Founding Partner Vacheron Constantin has always invested in the perpetuation of manual skills and recognised the utmost importance of transmitting know-how.

Pursuing its longstanding ties with the world of art and culture, Vacheron Constantin is committed to fostering fine artistic crafts that play such a key role in contemporary creativity, while highlighting the excellence achieved by combining these talents with those of design.

During London Craft Week, Vacheron Constantin’s London Boutique will have live demonstrations of watchmaking and hand-engraving. Visitors will also be given the chance to have a go themselves.

Julien Marchenoir, Vacheron Constantin heritage & strategy director said: “The astonishing growth of London Craft Week brings yet more to the programme this year, opening more doors than ever to the public. We are proud to support London Craft Week; a platform for the raw talent that continues to surprise, bring delight and inspire new audiences.”
