Richard Mille has named its latest sporting ambassador as French rally driver Sébastien Loeb.
He has joined a growing line up of sports stars that includes F1 driver Felipe Massa, sprinter Yohan Blake and golfer Bubba Watson.
Loeb is a record-breaking rally driver, with nine world championship titles, 76 victories and 112 podium finishes to his name, in the World Rally Championships.
The brand said: "Richard Mille is delighted to have Sébastien Loeb in its team alongside other famous sporting talents, especially as Loeb reflects the spirit of the RM Family perfectly. This partnership also provides a further opportunity for Richard Mille to place its watches in extreme conditions and test their performance and resistance to impacts as well as comfort."
Loeb, like the brand’s other sporting ambassadors, will wear a Richard Mille watch on his wrist while competing, the first time being the Monte Carlo Rallye from Janaury 16 to 19.
