This year’s Gumball 3000 car rally is underway, with several watch brands using the tour’s reputation for irreverence, luxury and glamour as a platform to promote their latest timepieces.
Lining up at the start in Copenhagan was professional ski racer and regular Gumballer Jon Olsson, who will be one of the first customers in the world to wear the Linde Werdelin SpidoLite II Tech Green.
The watch was first introduced at Baselworld in April, and is designed and engineered to be the strongest and lightest LW case to date. The 33 gram case weight is achieved thanks to an alloy that includes carbon, ceramic and titanium.
Only 75 SpidoLite II Tech Green watches are being sold, with a retail price of CHF 13,000.
