Lifestyle brand Skagen introduces newest addition to its smartwatch portfolio

Subtle updates have been made to the Falster’s design, including new minimalist, battery-saving watch dials and the addition of two programmable pushers.

Danish-inspired lifestyle brand, Skagen, has introduced a new piece to its smartwatch offering, the Falster 2.

Its predecessor, known as the Falster, debuted in January this year at CES and went on to become an award winning piece.

Subtle updates have been made to the Falster’s design, including new minimalist, battery-saving watch dials and the addition of two programmable pushers.

The case is now swimproof so users can track swim workouts, and is also one of the only smartwatches on the market with a magnetic steel-mesh strap; a latest evolution of the brand’s hallmark band material.

However, the most notable evolution is in the Falster 2’s tech capabilities.

Following the launch of Falster, Skagen invited fans to share feedback about which features they would like to see in future generations. Heart-rate tracking was most requested, which Skagen has delivered.

The Falster 2 is set to retail from $275.
