Spanish tennis player Nicolas Almagro has been announced as brand ambassador for Swiss watch brand, Le Rhöne.
Almagro, currently facing off against France’s Gilles Simon on Wimbledon’s Court No. 2 on the second day of the world’s oldest tennis tournament, will now wear a chronograph from the Geneva-based brand which launched at Baselworld in March.
The brand believe the world’s current no.74 best represents the values of its debut, Road Racer, collection; namely sportsmanship, precision and passion.
Le Rhöne states that the relationship is mutually beneficial for both the fledging brand and the tennis pro, who is making a return following months out with an injury.
Almagro will wear a DLC-treated steel Road Racer automatic Chronograph which reflects the ‘aggressiveness and passion’ of iconic American cars from the 1970s. Each of the 69 limited edition pieces is individually numbered.
