WatchPro is delighted to announce that watch strap specialist, LBS, has joined the list of sponsors for this year’s WatchPro Awards, which take place on October 26 at the iconic Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
LBS becomes the Category Sponsor of the Multiple Fashion Watch Retailer category, which honours multiple retailers that have excelled in the sale of fashion watches.
Sam Rose, sales director at LBS, says it is time for hard-working companies and individuals in the industry to receive recognition for the ways in which they set themselves apart from the competition.
And, as a leading watch strap supplier to the trade, LBS is looking forward to getting together with the industry to discuss new innovations and pinpoint the key trends that will shape future business.
“We have never been in a position to be a sponsor before; however, we have experienced some remarkable growth over recent years, which means we can play a part in the awards,” said Rose.
“Our growth is continuing in the UK as we are offering retailers huge margins on our watch straps – you can only buy direct from LBS, we do not have reps or middlemen taking a slice of their profits. Plus, our overseas growth has seen a large increase in recent months now distributing to over 30 countries, further promoting the LBS name in the industry.”
Rose added that Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre is the ideal stage for the champions of the watch industry to be honoured. “What a superb venue and a great opportunity to mingle with the stars of the critically-acclaimed watch world. We look forward to seeing everyone there,” he said.
