Konstantin Chaykin has created a limited edition version of its famous Joker watch with a harlequin theme.
The Harlequin Ventuno edition, made in a run of just 18 pieces, has a harlequin mask engraved on its case back and on the dial side the jester’s eyes, which show the hours and minutes appear on a jacquard checked background and the letters of HARLEQUIN are stamped into the bezel.
It comes on a strap is decorated with stitched red and black diamonds on a white base.
Ventuno, which is Italian for twenty-one, is used because we are living in the 21st year of the 21st century. It is also associated with the gamblers’ card game blackjack.
The 42mm steel watch houses a K07-0 automatic movement, based on an ETA 2824-2, that powers the jester’s hours and minutes eyes and the moonphase mouth.
