Konstantin Chaykin will be among the brands exhibiting at the IceBergues gallery in Geneva as part of the Masters of Horology exhibition.
It will be the second such event organized by the Academy of Independent Watchmakers (AHCI).
The event aims to allow the visitors to see the most interesting models of independent watchmakers and to discuss the latest watchmaking trends with them in person.
More than 25 independent watchmakers will present their recent works during the exhibition, including Mr Chaykin who will bring his Harley Quinn watch, previously short-listed for the Grand Ñ€rix d’horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) in 2022.
This is the first female character in his Wristmons collections.
He confirmed that other “wrist monsters” will also be exhibited, including the Joker Five, a model commemorating the fifth anniversary of the collection.
Konstantin Chaykin went on to say how the most exciting new model he will take is the Smilodon watch. Masters of Horology will be the first international event in which Konstantin Chaykin will exhibit this new timepiece.
The master has given his new wristmon the features of a long-extinct prehistoric predator, the smilodon, otherwise known as the saber-tooth tiger. Its open mouth houses the day of the week indicator developed by Chaykin.
The event is held during Geneva Watch Week, between March 27 and April 2, open between 14.00 and 23.00.
