Three men have been charged with kidnapping and robbery following a Rolex heist last month at Loveweds in Harpenden.
The attack took place on March 20, during which the manager was taken hostage by the gang.
The three men charged – Ashley Latimer-Bassill, 24 of Crane Mead, Daniel Stanley, 24 of Hatfield, and Jamie Kalaiarasu, 24 of Stevenage – escaped from the scene with £150,000 of stock, including Rolex watches.
Loveweds owner Josh Abraham told the St Albans & Harpenden Review that the store has been closed since the robbery but that he plans to reopen it in the next few weeks.
The store, which opened last year, sells a selection of pre-owned watches from brands including Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Patek Philippe.
