Tom Kennett, the founder and head designer of Glasgow-based brand Kennett Watches, has been nominated for Accessory Designer of the Year at June’s Scottish Fashion Awards.
This is the seventh year that the awards have taken place, and this year’s event will be hosted my TV presenter, model and fashion icon Alexa Chung as Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on June 11.
Kennett said of his nomination: "We are delighted and honoured to be nominated for this award – the Scottish Fashion Awards have become increasingly recognised internationally as a prestigious annual fashion event and it means all the more to me to be taking part at the event in my home town of Glasgow.
“Over the last seven years the SFA awards have demonstrated that Scotland has a huge amount of talent and has a lot to offer the international fashion industry."
The Kennett Watches brand was founded by Kennett in 2007 and was launched commercially in 2009. The brand produces watches and cufflinks and is currently available in 10 countries.
