Kennett signs driver Matt Mason as ambassador

Fashion watch brand Kennett has signed young motorcar driver Matt Mason as its latest ambassador.

Kennett has been building up its portfolio of motorsports ambassadors and Mason joins Jake Cook, Niall Murray, Tom Sharp, Frank Wrathall and Tom Ingram.

Mason is a single-seater driver in the Formula BMW Intersteps series and was British Open Champion 2009.

Other Kennett brand ambassadors include golfer Chris Hanson, British windsurfing champion Keith Atkinson and polo player George Meyrick.

Kennett founder Tom Kennett said: “Matt has had a very impressive season, finishing second in the Intersteps Championship, and underlining his talent with a win on Sunday at Brands Hatch in a guest appearance in the Formula Renault BARC championship.

“All our drivers finished well in their championships and hopefully Matt will continue the momentum of Frank Wrathall’s win on Sunday evening when he competes in New Delhi alongside the Formula One race this weekend.”

Mason added: “Kennett have put together a really impressive ambassador programme and I am delighted to be on board with the brand. I’ve got a really exciting winter programme lined up with the MRF Challenge in India so I look forward to representing the brand overseas and in the UK in the coming months.”
