Junkers and Zeppelin on approach for LWS 2014

Two German watch brands are the latest companies to sign up to showcase their wares at the London Watch Show 2014, which is now just ten days away.

Junkers and Zeppelin, both aviation-orientated brands marking different eras of German aviation, have never before been exhibited to the UK watch trade and selected the July 6-7 event at London’s Freemasons’ Hall as the most direct route to buyers and retailers in the UK.

Describing the brands, both owned and manufactured by private label specialist Pointtec, Hans C. Brandt, sales director of Junkers-Zeppelin in the UK/Ireland, said: “Junkers and Zeppelin are two iconic continental brands, known for their exceptional quality continue to express the synthesis of an elegant, timeless style with superbly reliable German manufacture, at very competitive prices.

“Most of the watches are in the most sellable price range of £199 – 500 RRP. Junkers and Zeppelin are neither fashion brands, nor do they belong to one of the mainstream watch design genres.”

Junkers and Zeppelin will be two brands among 45 exhibitors currently confirmed for the London Watch Show, which this year launches on a Sunday to make it easier for retailers working a six-day week to attend.

Brandt continued: “This is the very first exhibition to launch Junkers and Zeppelin in the UK. We would like to get in touch with independent jewellers and buyers of leading chain stores or department stores. Because we are a family run business we are in the comfortable position to offer customers exclusivity in their area to build up a strong customer relationship.”
