Junghans has revealed its new Meister Worldtimer, a watch it says exhibits the “perpetual movement of our world.”
Powered by a self-winding movement J820.5 with a 24-hour display and power reserve of up to 42 hours, the Meister Worldtimer comes in a stainless steel or PVD-coated case, 40.4 mm in diameter.
These models are available with optional hard plexiglass with coating for enhanced scratch resistance, or domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflection coating on both sides.
The dial is matt silver-plated, galvanic anthracite or blue with sunray brush and the hands are made using an environmentally-friendly Superluminova luminous substance.
The radial aperture in the dial reveals a grey hour disc which displays the time in 24 different locations simultaneously.
A specific city is allocated to every hour of the day in its respective time zone. Should one wish to send a Good Night message to loved ones back home while away on a business trip, the night time hours between 7pm and 6am are represented in black to provide an invaluable guide.
Available from November, coming with plexi or sapphire glass, suggested retail price from £1470 to £1770.
