Junghans is continuing to celebrate the centenary of the Bauhaus movement — recorded as having begun in 1919 — with the launch this year of the max bill Automatic Bauhaus, which continues to adhere to the design philosophy of the movement with its clean white dial and minimalist markings.
It has a convex sapphire crystal glass protecting a white dial with grey hour and second markers and touches of red on the hours and minutes hands and date.
Inside is the 38mm automatic J800.1 movement, partially visible through the caseback, with a power reserve of up to 42 hours.
The watch is worn on a black leather strap and will be priced at £1080 when it launches in May.
