John Pye luxury watch auction promises bargains

Online auctioneers John Pye is selling off the first 20 pieces from a private collection of luxury watches with a retail value of £200,000.

The timed online auction ends tomorrow (Friday 27 February) at noon and the 20 pieces have a combined estimate of between £50,000-£80,000.

The consignment of watches includes pieces from Rolex, Jacob & Co., Cartier and Paul Picot.

Ian Hall, Head of the Luxury Assets Division at John Pye Auctions said "It’s a fantastic selection of watches, with bidding starting at £2 on individual pieces it’s a chance for someone to get a high end watch at a great price."

Highlights of the sale include a platinum Franck Muller Sunset, a Rolex Air King, a Jacob & Co. Voyager (2/50) set with 5ct of diamonds and a Glashutte Original 18ct gold chronograph.
