Patek Philippe is looking to fill a full-time Sales Consultant role at its flagship store on New Bond Street in London.
The London Salon was for years a bijou space of just over 900 square feet; in 2014, it blossomed when the Stern family was able to acquire 16 New Bond Street.
Now, with an area of about 4300 square feet on two floors, the Salon wraps itself smoothly around a street corner and benefits from gloriously airy double aspect windows, which bathe the interior in natural light. The interior is inspired by art deco in a contemporary interpretation.
As a Sales Consultant you will work within Patek’s busy team in the store, confidently managing customer’s enquiries and the sale of timepieces.
You will handle customer queries in store and also by telephone and email, ensuring that all customers receive a professional and refined experience.
Main Duties:
You will be the first point of contact for customer sales & service enquiries. You will also assist with technical queries, including the explanation of complications and the setting of such timepieces. You will be required to maintain the client database and attend customer events.
What we are looking for:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Able to read and interpret technical documents
- Able to use Microsoft packages (SAP is desirable)
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Recent experience in a similar administrator role
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure including managing multiple tasks
- A proactive approach and ability to work well on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- An enthusiastic and positive personality
- Immaculate personal appearance
- Experience in the luxury goods industry is desirable
