Jaeger-LeCoultre: Middle East has great potential

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s chief executive Jerome Lambert has described Saudi Arabia as a country of “great potential” for the luxury watch brand, in an interview with leading newspaper Arab News.

Jaeger opened its first boutique in Riyadh in 2010, and appears to be a growing climate for the brand, which Lambert said recognises the vast potential of Saudis’ “keen appreciation for luxury and fine watchmaking”.

In an interview with Arab News Lambert said that he had met with “esteemed clientele” in the city and was pleased to be able to speak with them personally about Jaeger-LeCoultre.

"Being able to share our expertise with the Saudi watch connoisseurs is a true privilege indeed. Building on our strong heritage encompassing about 400 patents that changed the history of fine watchmaking and inventions that have become absolute references," he explained.

The brand works with distributor Platinum Sands in the Middle East, a company that is credited with bringing numerous other luxury brands to the region.

Platinum Brands is a subdivision of the luxury watch and jewellery retailer Al Bin Ali Group, which has been a key player in the luxury retail business for over sixty years and continues to strengthen its commitment to style and high-end brand.
