Jaeger-LeCoultre creates world’s first four-faced watch

Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185 Quadriptyque has 11 complications across its four dials.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has made what it claims to be the world’s first watch with four faces in the form of the most complicated Reverso it has ever made.

Reverso watches always have a watch head that is hinged to flip over and show two faces.

The Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185 Quadriptyque goes further by adding two more displays on the front and back of the cradle base unit.

That has created space for 11 complications including perpetual calendar, flying tourbillon, minute repeater, and indications of the synodic, draconic and anomalistic cycles.

JLC says it took six years to design and manufacture the watch, which is 51mm tall by 31mm wide and 15mm high.
