Jaeger-LeCoultre is sponsoring the Venice International Film Festival for the 12th time this year and marked the first day of the event today with the unveiling of three luxury, jewellery timepieces that “pay a dazzling, vibrant tribute to femininity”.
A new Reverso One High Jewelry piece has been released with an 18-carat white gold 36mm case carrying 250 diamonds surrounding a mother-of-pearl face. It has a black satin strap with a gold clasp.
The piece contains a manually wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 844 mechanical movement with 38 hour power reserve.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Moon, “evokes the shining stars above,” the maison says. It features 124 diamonds set into the bezel, lugs, and case’s crowns.
A star that can slide around the dial, adjustable via one of the watch’s crowns, indicates the time of your next rendezvous, Jaeger-LeCoultre suggests.
The 18 carat white gold, 39mm and diamond encrusted piece has an automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 935 mechanical movement.
The blue face, which matches the blue satin strap, has hand-painted ivy leaves, a mother of pearl disc and Arabic numerals for timekeeping. It also has a sapphire crystal case back.
The third release is the Rendez-Vous Secret, again an 18 carat white gold piece. It harbours a gem encrusted cover, which is styled to mimic a flower over the mother-of-pearl dial. “Like a flower with white and pink petals, the watch’s cover is abloom in marquise-cut diamonds, pink sapphires, and brilliant-cut rubies. Two rows of brilliant-cut diamonds make up the bracelet” explains the watchmaker.
The smaller 28mm piece has 108 rubies and 196 diamonds. The timepiece has a manually wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 846/1 mechanical movement that has 38 hours of power.
