IWC is launching a new bid to support the conservation work of the Charles Darwin Foundation in preserving the delicate ecosystem of the Galapagos Islands.
A three-tier fundraising project is now available on the Swiss watch brand’s website enabling participants to support the partnership with donations of either USD 20 (£12), USD 200 or USD 1,000 in return for exclusive benefits.
All donations will go towards the Charles Darwin Foundation (CDF) science and conservation programmes.

This program gives everyone the opportunity to support our mission in conserving the archipelago’s unique range of fauna and flora. We are grateful to all our friends and donors for their support”.
Participants will be kept up to speed with progress and development in the Galapagos Islands. Those donating USD 20 will symbolically adopt an endangered species, while those giving USD 200 will become Supporters of CDF which entitles them to receive CDF and IWC newsletters as well as receive an invitation to the research station should they ever travel to the islands, situated off the west coast of South America.
Those donating USD 1,000 will become official Benefactors of the CDF and will be invited to various events from the CDF and IWC such as the annual CDF General Assembly or an IWC boutique event as well as receive a special documentation package and qualify for preferential treatment if travelling to the Galapagos Islands including a VIP tour of the research station.
IWC has actively supported the CDF since 2009 most prominently through a series of special and limited edition watches, such as the current Aquatimer collection, with a portion of proceeds from their sale going towards the work of the CDF.
