IWC creates watch to help Laureus Sport Foundation

IWC Schaffhausen has unveiled a limited edition watch designed to support the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation.

The Foundation raises money from the world of sport and its supporters and distributes it to projects in war-torn parts of the world; particularly initiatives that improve children’s lives through sport and teamwork.

IWC created a limited edition of its Ingenieur Automatic Edition as part of its long-term commitment to the Foundation, with part of the proceeds from sales going to help children in crisis-hit areas of the world.

An engraving on the back was drawn by a girl from Uganda, who won an IWC children’s drawing competition.

Since 2000, Laureus has collected over 60 million euros. This money has enabled the Foundation to support 150 local projects in 35 countries and has pushed the lives of one-and-a-half million young people in a more positive direction.
