Italian influencer Chiara Ferragni creates a watch brand under license with Morellato

Italy’s Morellato Group has signed a worldwide licensing agreement to produce and distribute jewellery and watch collections under the Chiara Ferragni brand.

Chiara Ferragni (pictured top) is an Italian entrepreneur, influencer and fashion blogger whose blog and social media channels — under the name of The Blonde Salad — have over 20 million followers.

The deal with Morellato is designed to expand Chiara Ferragni as a lifestyle brand, building on Ms Ferragni’s personal influence to develop products and services for her global audience.

The first jewellery and watch collections will hit stores in October 2021 but no designs have been unveiled.

“I am very happy with this new agreement, which allows me to directly explore this sector, which is one of my greatest passions. We have worked to create products that are very much in line with the Chiara Ferragni brand, and I cannot wait to unveil the entire collection to the public. This further step means the Chiara Ferragni brand is able to approach the market with a truly complete offer,” says Ms Ferragni.
