Isotope Watches has unveiled two new watches; the Isotope HydriumX “Will Return” and the Hydrium Burnt Tangerine.

The first, the Isotope Hydrium™ X “Will Return,” is described as the living interpretation of the most iconic clock door sign, encapsulated in a high-quality Diver’s watch case.

On the design idea behind this, José Miranda, co-founder, said: “The inspiration comes from our frequent trips to New York, where the traditional clock door sign patiently informs us when the shop will be open again.”

“The hour and minute hands are similar to a water droplet and have an intriguing and adorable similarity to our “Lacrima”, the dial motif we adopted to connect all Isotope Watches designs.”

Adding: “At the end of 2019, before the pandemic struck, we started creating and adapting the design to the real world. After two years and various iterations, we are ready to start the production of a Limited Edition of only 100 watches.”

The “Will Return” is available on a bespoke watch case inspired by droplets and by the fluidity from the Streamline Moderne era, a principle followed since the Rider Jumping Hour.

The watch case is made out of machined and micro-blasted Stainless Steel, providing a grey, raw look, yet refined with Sapphire Crystal on the Watch Face, Bezel and open case back.

This “Will Return” Limited Edition comes with an automatic movement and no date window to ensure it stays as close to the original design as possible.

Pre-orders are now open at www.isotopewatches.com for £450 with code HydriumWillReturn.

The RRP is £563 with an expected delivery date of March 2022.

The second watch in the release is the Isotope Hydrium Burnt Tangerine, Isotope’s interpretation of a high-visibility dial.

Miranda explains: “We always wanted to make a tangerine dial, but distinct and unique, so, instead of using large indexes, we are using over-dimensioned, high-contrast hands with the shape of the Isotope “i”.”

He continues: “The two-layered dial shows the exclusive Lacrima, our DNA, and the index ring. Both are slightly elevated, opposing the traditional Sandwich dial. The design has been perfected during the last two years, and we are ready to start the production of a Limited Edition of only 100 watches.”

Isotope Watches will be exhibiting at WATCHPRO Market in December.
