Inter City goes global with Karen Millen watches

Britain’s Inter City Group will be exhibiting Karen Millen watches for the first time at next month’s Baselworld exhibition.

Superdry watches, which are now on sale in over 35 countries, will also make their third appearance, while Police, Roamer, Swiss Military, and Timberland will also be launching their 2015 collections.

Inter City Group hopes to grow and expand the Karen Millen brand even further into international markets (it’s already in 10 countries) on the back of the designer’s strong fashion following.

The SS15 timepieces consist of twelve new designs which have been created in line with the season’s aesthetic, while the heritage collection offers both classic and contemporary feminine styles.

New models include sunray dials with Swaroski crystals on the bezel, finished with lizard-patterned leather straps or steel bracelets.

Two new models in Superdry’s Scuba family will debut at Basel.

Scuba Rocks, which first launched last year, has been updated with a smaller 41mm brushed case finished in rose gold with pastel silicone bracelet. Its face features Swarovski crystals in the centre of the dial.

A new Scuba Harpoon is the latest addition to the Deep Sea Suba collection with an oversized 47mm brushed case and multi-functional dial with blue harpoon seconds hands.

All Scuba models are water resistant up to 10ATM.

Design cues from Superdry apparel’s Copper Label have been distilled into a new watch for 2015. The timepiece is a mix of contemporary vintage and sports designs featuring raw brass detail and strong Superdry branding on the dial, and hand stamped on the thick leather strap.
