Watch brands often choose to launch their new models in spectacular locations but H Moser & Cie has set the bar higher than most when it came to revealing its latest.
Edouard Meylan, chief executive officer of the Swiss independent from Schaffhausen, took the company’s latest model, the Pioneer, onboard a zero gravity, or parabolic, flight somewhere over the Mediterranean last week.
Meylan took the opportunity to show off the Pioneer, a gold and titanium watch with domed crystal and hollowed out lugs which WatchPro was shown at Basel, while Moser watchmakers carried out tests of new movements, escapements and hairsprings.
Details are thin on the ground at the moment but a full reveal is planned for 15 October.
