The Watches of Switzerland Group expanded its US retail network this week with official openings of a multi-brand flagship showroom along with monobrand boutiques for Breitling and Omega within Wynn, one of Las Vegas’s most prestigious hotel, casino and retail destinations.
The expansion in Las Vegas follows in the same week that Watches of Switzerland opened its first showroom in the New York neighborhood of SoHo.
Those stores are added to the network of around 20 Mayors watch and jewellery boutiques that were acquired by The Watches of Switzerland Group last year.
Expansion in America is seen as key to give investors an attractive story ahead of a potential public listing of the group in London next year. The group’s UK business is likely to be seen as fully mature with less opportunity for rapid growth.
In Las Vegas, the Watches of Switzerland boutique has a dedicated room for Patek Philippe and a private VIP consultation area along with space for Blancpain, Breitling, Breguet, Franck Muller, Girard- Perregaux, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger LeCoultre, Omega, Panerai, Roger Dubuis, Tudor, Ulysse Nardin, Urwerk and Vacheron Constantin.
The country’s largest standalone Rolex boutique, also operated by Watches of Switzerland, is located just next door.

The opening weekend saw astronaut and Breitling brand ambassador Scott Kelly help with the ribbon cutting.
