IN PICTURES: Prestons extends its Rolex room at Wilmslow flagship

Prestons’ showroom in Wilmslow, Cheshire, has always been a space for entertaining and delighting clients as much as presenting and selling watches.

Two major projects in the 1930s Art Deco-style building have enhanced that service.

First, Prestons’ has expanded a top floor service centre to make space for additional full time watchmakers and more equipment needed to be accredited as an official service centre for Rolex.

At street level, a newly expanded Rolex space has more rooms for private consultations and, a larger interior display for watches and a much wider store frontage to draw in the wealthy inhabitants of Wilmslow and the surrounding Manchester commuter belt.

The extension means the boutique’s front door is centre of the frontage.

As you enter, the a customer entertainment area is built around a huge fish tank and copper bar.

To the right are dedicated branded spaces for Rolex and Patek Philippe.

Tudor is the only other watch brand on sale at the boutique.
