Newcastle’s Northern Goldsmiths showroom is showcasing this year’s watch highlights in a three day exhibition which opens today.
The Basel & Geneva exhibition features the highlights of this year’s watch show and includes models from Rolex, Breitling, Omega and TAG Heuer.
Owners Aurum spent £1m on refurbishing the showroom’s original characteristics at the corner of Blackett Street and Pilgrim Street last year.
This is the second time that Goldsmiths has brought the Basel & Geneva collections to the North East.
Newcastle-born Craig Bolton, executive brand director for Goldsmiths, said: “It’s a huge personal and professional honour to hold this special event in the North East and specifically at our much-loved Northern Goldsmiths showroom, which has such an impressive heritage.

The exhibition runs daily until Saturday at 6pm.
Northern Goldsmiths is individually branded despite being one of the longest-standing showrooms in Goldsmith’s portfolio and one of four in the Newcastle area.
