Roger Dubuis will play a starring role in Harrods’ watch-themed ‘Made with Love and Precision’ month in July.
The Swiss watch brand will be bringing a number of its timepieces to the luxury Knightsbridge department store to feature in the an exhibition across three themed window displays and a pop-up area inside the store.
The watches making the journey will include exclusive debuts including the Excalibur Spider Skeleton Flying Tourbillon with Black Spinnels. Roger Dubuis will base its pop-up area, which it has created exclusively for the Harrods event, around ‘symmetry’ of this skeleton movement.
Also appearing is the Black Velvet with Diamonds, the final variation on a trilogy that was first unveiled at SIHH 2016 and features a carbon watch case set with diamonds. Roger Dubuis has pioneered new gem-setting techniques Geneva-based gemsetting specialist Pascal Vincent Vaucher to allow it to set precious stones in unlikely materials such as rubber.
