Hugo Boss unveils marketing collateral for SS18 men’s and ladies’ collections


Hugo Boss has unveiled its SS18 ad campaign, showcasing its latest addition to the Grand Prix line for men, and the Classic Sport for ladies. 

The men’s campaign shows off the newest Grand Prix piece, “A dash of retro punctuates fast-lane design in the BOSS Grand Prix Collection.” Hugo Boss explains.

“Contemporary chronograph dials are kept on track by perforated leather straps reminiscent of the driving gloves that concealed white knuckles on yesteryear’s racing car steering wheels.”

The ladies’ campaign also goes for a sandstone and white colour scheme. it promotes the Classic Sport for ladies, which comes in a stainless steel case, with a rose gold coating. The watch also sports a mesh strap, and addition to the rubber or leather found in the Classic Sport line previously.

The quartz piece sports a white dial, along with chronograph dials and roman numerals in rose gold.

Movado Group, which distributes Hugo Boss in the UK, has opted not to exhibit at this year’s Baselworld exhibition. It is favouring a more localised approach with new collections presented at events in the UK.
