Hublot unveils new-look boutique at Harrods

Hublot has reopened its boutique at Harrods following a major makeover six years into its tenancy at the iconic Knightsbridge store.

Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe flew into London and officially relaunched the boutique, which gives the brand a shop window to a global customer base.

The original boutique, first created in 2011, has been re-designed to exemplify Hublot’s “ever-strengthening” positioning in fine watchmaking, according to the brand.

The new 2017 Harrods space is designed to exhibit the brand’s philosophy around luxury innovation and the ‘Art of Fusion’, which is demonstrated in the interior choices and its use of a wide range of materials.

Hublot says the boutique features an original approach to contemporary design using new lighting techniques to showcase the visibility and special character of its collections.

The “futuristic” lines of the 20 square metre space are showcased in black ash wood, grey alcantara, serigraph mirrors and grey carpet floor.

Mr Guadalupe said: “Hublot is proud to have such an established and loyal London client basis and we feel this reflects the shared appreciation of a unique sense style and the desire to constantly challenge fine watchmaking boundaries. The refurbishment of the Hublot Boutique in Harrods is the first step of a year that will mark a milestone in Hublot and Harrods partnership.”

Hublot’s network of approved retailers continues to grow rapidly. It currently operates more than 70 exclusive boutiques around the world in locations such as Paris, Berlin, Moscow, New York, Miami, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Dubai and Kuala Lumpur.
